On Saturday, April 19, former Normal West High School standout Alec McGinnis’ current college team, the Augustana College Vikings, won 12-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Carroll Pioneers.

The game took place at Frame Park. This was their third matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 at 6 p.m. at Brunner Field at Swanson Stadium against North Central Cardinals.
