E85 gas was sold at the lowest price of $3.15 per gallon at one gas station in McLean County during the week ending Mar. 21, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.

The county registered an average of $3.41 per gallon for E85 gas.

Of the 72 reported gas stations in cities within McLean County, seven offered E85 gas.

The average reported price for a gallon of E85 gas in Illinois was $3.35, up from the previous week.

U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
