Four Illinois State student-athletes receive College Sport Communicators All-District honors

Four Illinois State University student-athletes were named to the College Sport Communicators (CSC) All-District team, the organization announced on Apr. 7. The recognition highlights both athletic and academic achievements for the 2025-26 season.

The honor is given to student-athletes who excel in their sport and maintain strong academic records. Seniors Mia Snow, Ella Turken, Chloe Tyler, and Delaney Boulden represented Illinois State for this distinction. Their majors include Human Development & Family Science (Snow), Sustainable/Renewable Energy (Turken), Exercise Science (Tyler), and Nursing – Prelicensure (Boulden). Turken, Tyler, and Boulden each hold a perfect 4.00 GPA while Snow maintains a 3.85 GPA.

To be nominated for CSC Academic All-District honors, athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average as an undergraduate or graduate student where applicable. Additional requirements include being at least a sophomore in both academic and athletic standing and participating in either four competitions or placing highly at conference championships.
