On Friday, April 25, former Normal West High School standout Kacie Quick’s current college team, the Northern Illinois Huskies, lost 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place at Mary M. Bell Field. This was their first matchup against the Zips this season.

The Huskies’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 1 p.m. at Mary M. Bell Field against Akron Zips.
