Illinois State University’s College of Applied Science and Technology will host the CAST Rising Redbirds induction ceremony on April 15 in the Aaron Leetch Stadium Club at Hancock Stadium, according to a March 13 announcement.
The event is open to the campus community and aims to recognize alumni who have become leaders in their fields. The ceremony highlights individuals who serve as role models for others pursuing similar career paths within the college’s departments and schools.
A coffee reception will take place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., followed by the induction ceremony at 9:30 a.m. This year’s inductees represent various disciplines, including Agriculture, Criminal Justice Sciences, Family and Consumer Sciences, Health Sciences, Information Technology, Kinesiology and Recreation, and Technology.
The list of inductees includes John Heiser (Agriculture), Gio Circo (Criminal Justice Sciences), Sara Krewson (Family and Consumer Sciences), Eddie Gordon (Health Sciences), Ramtin Davanlou (Information Technology), Lindsay Vahl Dean (Kinesiology and Recreation), and Troy Deiss (Technology).
