At the midpoint of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championship, Illinois Wesleyan University’s men’s golf team holds a narrow lead. The Titans, ranked fifth, are ahead by two strokes after scoring a 305 on the par-72 Cobblestone Creek Country Club course in Penfield, New York.

Senior Griffin Pohl from Western Springs, Illinois recorded the team’s best round of the day with a two-over finish, placing him fourth overall at 145. Junior Aidan Healy from New Lenox, Illinois improved significantly with a four-over round featuring an eagle on hole No. 6. Healy is currently tied for 63rd with a score of 153 over two rounds.

Juniors Juney Bai and Michael Spitzer are also among the top-50 players. Bai’s six-over 78 places him in 18th position at 148, while Spitzer stands at 45th with a score of 151.

Illinois Wesleyan leads over Kenyon and Huntingdon, both tied for second place at 21-over par. Carnegie Mellon is fourth at 22-over, and Aurora completes the top-five teams at 24-over par. Bethel’s Will Karkoc leads individually with back-to-back rounds of par-or-better, holding a three-stroke lead at six-under par.

The championship field has been reduced to 18 teams for the final two rounds to be held at Midvale Country Club. Tee times begin at 9 a.m., with Quinn Clifford starting for Illinois Wesleyan at 10:39 a.m. ET.

– Tied for sixty-third: Aidan Healy (77-76=153)
