The Illinois Wesleyan University men’s tennis team defeated Edgewood College 7-0 on March 16 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Titans, now holding an 8-3 record, changed their lineup for both singles and doubles matches during the contest.

In doubles play, junior Thad Dillow and senior Griffin Hammond secured their first win together on the top line this season with a 6-4 victory. Senior Ben Vigneri and freshman Will Ehrlich won their debut match as a pair, defeating their opponents 6-2. Another pairing of senior Ian Turnbull and freshman Truman Raher completed the sweep with a close tiebreak win. In singles competition, Vigneri earned his first individual win of the trip with a decisive 6-1, 6-1 result at No. 1 singles. Turnbull, Dillow, Hammond, Ehrlich, and Raher all posted straight-set victories to complete the shutout.
