The Illinois Wesleyan University men’s volleyball team is set to face Augustana College in a College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) match on Wednesday, February 25. The contest will take place at the Roy J. Carver Center, with play beginning at 7 p.m.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the game with a 12-4 overall record and an 0-1 mark in conference play, following a four-set loss to No. 5 Carthage College last Thursday. In that match, sophomore Ethan Kuziela recorded a double-double with 11 kills and 20 assists. Sophomore Gavin Rohlwing contributed three blocks, leading the team’s defense, while sophomore Ben Zima registered seven digs.

The Titans currently lead all NCAA Division III teams in kills per set (13.58) and assists per set (12.42). Freshman Aydin Provost leads the team with 191 kills and averages 3.47 kills per set on a .333 hitting percentage. His average ranks second in the CCIW and places him among the top players nationally for points per set. Kuziela is second on the team with 152 kills at an average of 2.67 per set, followed by junior Bryce Williams with 139 kills and an average of 2.96 per set.

Kuziela and junior Brenden Reutter have been key contributors as setters for Illinois Wesleyan’s offense, which ranks among the nation’s best for hitting percentage (.280). Kuziela has totaled 394 assists this season, averaging nearly seven per set and leading NCAA Division III with three triple-doubles. Reutter has provided another 196 assists.

From the service line, both Kuziela and Williams have delivered 16 aces each, while Provost has added 15.

Defensively, Zima leads the team in digs with 163—ranking third in conference play—and averages nearly three digs per set nationally. Kuziela is next with 105 digs; Williams follows with 70. At the net, freshman Dylan Quinn leads Illinois Wesleyan in blocks (43), followed by Kuziela (30) and Provost (29).

This meeting marks the eleventh between Illinois Wesleyan and Augustana, with Augustana holding a series advantage of seven wins to three. Last season, each team won one match against each other; Augustana claimed victory in their most recent meeting on March 15, 2025.

Augustana enters this matchup after defeating St. Ambrose University earlier in the week.
