Illinois Wesleyan University’s softball team has received national recognition for academic achievement, earning the Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Team honor. The Titans led the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) and ranked 28th in the country for their academic performance.

Sixteen members of the Illinois Wesleyan softball team were named Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athlete All-America. Those recognized include Tessa Bittner, Jillian Bollard, Annika Brown, Kennady Estes, Caroline Gatchell, Margo Geary, Ella Hermes, Mallory Holland, Ava Khoury, Jen Kuhn, Riley McDoniel, Hailey Milgazo, Bella Pinter, Maddie Pool, Grace Wilkens, and Julia Wilkens.

Illinois Wesleyan was one of three CCIW schools to earn the team accolade this year. Elmhurst and Millikin also received recognition. The Titans’ 16 scholar-athlete selections tied for the second-most in the conference.

During the 2025 season, Illinois Wesleyan’s softball program compiled a 37-9 record. The team set a new program record with a 25-game winning streak. They won both the regular season and tournament championships in the CCIW and captured a regional title in the NCAA Division III Softball Tournament for the first time since 2019.
