The Illinois Wesleyan University women’s lacrosse team lost to Meredith College on March 20, with a final score of 24-1. The Titans’ record moved to 3-6 for the season, while Meredith improved to 6-2.

This result is significant as it marks another challenge for the Titans during their spring break trip. The team’s only goal came from sophomore Maddie Gibson late in the second period. Senior Sarah Riepe and sophomore Sophie Shore each collected two ground balls, and Shore also led the team with three caused turnovers. In goal, sophomore Marli Brown made eight saves in the first half, while freshman Allison Vervynck added six saves in the second half.
