On Friday, April 11, former University High School standout MacCallan Conklin’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 17-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.
The game took place at Duffy Bass Field. This was their first matchup against the Purple Aces this season.
The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Evansville Purple Aces.
