On Sunday, April 6, former Central Catholic High School standout Tyler Sears’ current college team, the Monmouth Fighting Scots, won 8-7 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Grinnell Pioneers.

The game took place at Pioneer Park. This was their third matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Fighting Scots’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at Horenberger Field against Illinois Wesleyan Titans.
