On Sunday, April 6, former Pontiac Township High School standout Addison Masching’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 15-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Drake Bulldogs.

The game took place at Buel Field. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 4 p.m. at Bob Pearl Field against Iowa Hawkeyes.
