Senior Raj Sethi from Chandler, Arizona, has been named the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Men’s Golfer of the Week. This recognition was announced on April 9, marking the second time in his career that Sethi has received this honor. His previous award came on September 27, 2023.
Sethi’s performance at the recent IWU Invite contributed significantly to his team’s success. He secured a third-place individual finish at what is described as the largest collegiate golf tournament in the country. The event took place over the weekend of April 5-6, with Illinois Wesleyan University winning the team title. Sethi recorded impressive rounds of 69 and 72, ending two-under par at 141 after completing 36 holes, and achieved the fifth top-five finish of his career in a competitive field of 228 players.
Looking ahead, Illinois Wesleyan is set to compete at the Cochran Collegiate, an event hosted by Rhodes College, scheduled for April 14-15 in Memphis, Tennessee.
