Q2 real estate sales report: Heyworth

Median prices declined in Heyworth over last year, and are down 38.2 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to second quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From April to June, 12 homes sold in Heyworth for a median price of $135,250. That's 14.7 percent lower than median home sale prices for the second quarter of 2017.

In the second quarter, there were no foreclosures in Heyworth.

Median property tax for homeowners in Heyworth was $4,142.90 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 2.6 percent of their home's value in taxes.
