Report: Pontiac spent $13,030 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Pontiac Township High School District 90 is up 3.7 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Livingston County school district spent $12,562 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $13,030 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 751 to 651.

Pontiac's spending in 2017-18 was 2.3 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
