Report: Tri Valley spent $10,352 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Tri Valley Community Unit School District 3 is down 12.3 percent from five years ago, according to a McLean County Times analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Mclean County school district spent $11,799 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,352 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 994 to 1109.

Tri Valley's spending in 2017-18 was 22.4 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
