City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on March 12.
Bloomington Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts (PRCA) in partnership with Dust2Glory Fitness and Certified Spartan SGX Coach Dustin Webb are proud to present the 3rd annual Hill of a Race!
Join us on September 21, 2019 for at Ewing Park 2 in Bloomington for the ultimate outdoor fitness challenge. This obstacle run will include running, lifting, carrying, climbing, crawling, and tests of agility and balance.
Recreational and competitive waves make this a great event for anyone from families and beginners, to the serious obstacle runner. The first wave (competitive) begins at Noon with waves (recreational) starting every 15 minutes. Kids ages 7 – 13 must participate with a registered adult. Event shirts will be provided to everyone who registers before regular registration ends on August 23.
Early-bird registration is open now at www.hillofarace.com. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure the most savings. Groups of five or more are able to register at a discounted rate.
“Hill of a Race has become a signature event for the Bloomington Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department,” said Athletics Program Manager Denise Balagna. “We’re excited that this year’s event will feature an updated layout, new obstacles, and more ways to save on registration fees.”
