Normal home prices fall in April 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2018 in Normal fell by $10,100 while total sales decreased by 10.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2018, there were 49 homes sold, with a median sale price of $154,900 - a 6.1% decrease over the $165,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Normal in April 2017.

The median sales tax in Normal for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,912, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for April 2018.
