Illinois State University's Redbirds are set to face the Bradley Braves in a midweek game on Wednesday. The match, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 16, was postponed to April 17 due to weather concerns. The first pitch is slated for 5:00 p.m. CT.

Following the Bradley game, Illinois State will travel to Terre Haute to compete against the Indiana State Sycamores. The Redbirds currently hold a 16-26 overall record and a 10-7 conference record.

The upcoming game marks the 107th meeting between Illinois State and Bradley in their longstanding I-74 rivalry. Illinois State leads the all-time series with a significant margin of 52 wins. In their last encounter on March 28, Illinois State swept a doubleheader against Bradley, highlighted by Adisyn Hopkins' walk-off home run in the first game.

Bradley holds an even record of 21-21 this season and matches Illinois State's conference record at 10-7. Recently, Bradley secured a series win over UNI, the 2023 Regular Season Champions, and has also claimed victories over Valpo, Missouri State, and Indiana State.

Delainey Bryant from Illinois State continues her impressive streak by reaching base in 26 consecutive games, ranking second nationally for active streaks. Meanwhile, Abby Knight boasts a ten-game hitting streak, placing her fourth nationally.
