Recent Illinois State graduate Ali Schrock is preparing to compete in the upcoming ANNIKA WAPT Redbird Championship. The event, hosted at Weibring Golf Club from June 18-20, is part of the ANNIKA Women's All Pro Tour (WAPT). The top two players will gain entry into the Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic on the LPGA Epson Tour.
Schrock concluded her college career with a stroke average of 76.1, ranking third-best in Illinois State's history. She played 133 rounds, amassing 10,122 strokes—both records for the program. Her record includes 27 rounds at or below par.
The ANNIKA WAPT was established in 2019 as a developmental platform for female golfers aiming for the Epson and LPGA Tours. It offers opportunities for players to earn exemptions to Epson Tour events and advance through LPGA qualifying stages.
Schrock, hailing from Pontiac, Illinois, earned multiple accolades during her collegiate career. She was a three-time All-Conference honoree and received several awards including MVC Golfer of the Year in 2022 and Academic All-America titles in both 2022 and 2023.
The ANNIKA Foundation was created by Annika Sörenstam to empower women through golf by providing developmental opportunities at various levels while promoting personal growth through fitness and nutrition.
In addition to Ali Schrock, rising junior Dani Grace Schrock will also compete in the collegiate division of the tournament. During her previous season, she participated in seven tournaments with an average of 77.6 strokes per round.
