The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team achieved a record-breaking performance at the Kathy Niepagen Spring Fling, held at Ironwood Golf Course. The team, ranked 12th nationally, completed the tournament with a score of 581 over 36 holes, setting a new program record. Junior Macy Ludwig played a key role in this achievement by finishing three-under par and setting a new individual 36-hole record.

She finished the weekend with a two-over 74, achieving a total score of three-under 141. This broke the previous record held by senior Lexi Onsrud, who had set it at two-under. Ludwig's victory marked her third career win and her second consecutive win at this event.

Lexi Onsrud secured third place with a one-under 71, bringing her total to 144 for the weekend. Senior Emma Thorman tied for fifth place with scores of 73-74=147, while junior Jacque O'Neill tied for seventh with scores of 75-74=149.

The Titan 'B' team also performed well, finishing in 11th place ahead of several other teams from their conference.
