The Illinois Wesleyan University women's golf team is set to participate in the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling, scheduled for April 19-20. The event will take place at Riverside Golf Course in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Ranked ninth, the Titans are among 14 teams competing, including host UW-Whitewater, Dubuque, Aurora, UW-Stout, Wheaton, Carroll, UW-Platteville, Marian, Lake Forest, UW-Oshkosh, Edgewood, UW-Stevens Point, and Wisconsin Lutheran.
Illinois Wesleyan will field two teams and one individual player. The IWU 'A' team features seniors Emma Thorman and Lexi Onsrud alongside juniors Macy Ludwig, Jadyn Spinks, and Jacque O'Neill. The IWU 'B' team includes senior Rachel Ducaji; junior Kylie Hundman; sophomore Brooke Erhard; and freshmen Emily Gastrau and Sarah Sim. Kira Petersen will compete as an individual.
The competition begins with a shotgun start on Friday at 1 pm. Live scoring will be available through Golfstat.
