Illinois Wesleyan baseball releases full schedule for upcoming 2026 season

Illinois Wesleyan University’s baseball team has released its schedule for the 2026 season. Head coach Michael Kellar announced the lineup on Thursday, November 5.

The Titans will play a total of 40 games, including 20 contests within the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). The season includes a spring break trip to Louisville, Kentucky, and concludes with CCIW postseason play in early May.

The team will open its season on Friday, February 20, hosting Greenville University at Robert E. Smith Field for a weekend series. The following week, Illinois Wesleyan will travel to Memphis, Tennessee for a single game against DePauw University and a doubleheader with Rhodes College.

A 13-game road stretch will see the Titans visit Washington University in St. Louis for a weekend series. Afterward, they continue south to Spalding, Kentucky from March 13-14 for games against Spalding University before stopping in Terre Haute, Indiana to face Rose-Hulman.

Returning home as reigning regular season CCIW champions, Illinois Wesleyan hosts UW-Oshkosh from March 20-23. The conference opener is set at Millikin on March 25 before facing Big Blue again that weekend.

April begins with an away game at Elmhurst University followed by three games against Carroll on April 3-4. Throughout April, the Titans will compete in more CCIW matchups by hosting Carthage, Elmhurst, and North Central College while also playing non-conference games against Benedictine University and visiting Illinois College.

On April 29, Illinois Wesleyan travels north to Wheaton for an evening game before heading to North Park University the following Monday. The regular season ends May 2 with a doubleheader versus North Park at Horenberger Field.

The top six teams in the CCIW standings will participate in the conference tournament beginning Wednesday, May 6 and concluding with the championship on Friday, May 9.
