On Tuesday, April 8, former University High School standout MacCallan Conklin’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 14-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Illinois Fighting Illini.
The game took place at Duffy Bass Field. This was their second matchup against the Fighting Illini this season.
The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 5 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Evansville Purple Aces.
