Woodland School District 5 issued the following announcement on Sept. 12.
Woodland CUSD #5 would like to thank the Livingston County and Streator Police Department K-9 units for their assistance today in doing a sweep of the parking lot, lockers, and locker rooms of Woodland. We are happy to report that they did NOT find any drugs or substances of any kind in their search.
As always if you have questions or concerns about the search, search process or what have you please don't hesitate to contact Mr. McGuckin, Mrs. Peterson, or Mr. Burcenski.
