Miller Park Zoo issued the following announcement on Sept. 10.
Miller Park Zoo will have adjusted hours on Saturday the 15th of September to accommodate their Zoo Do fundraising event. On the 15th, the Zoo will close to the general public at 3 pm. The inside portion of the Katthoefer Animal Building will be closed all day on the 15th. Miller Park Zoo will reopen to the general public on Sunday, September 16th at 9:30 am.
The annual Zoo Do fundraiser is a benefit for the Miller Park Zoological Society. Zoo Do is the largest fundraising event of the year for the Zoological Society and funds raised from the event will go toward the renovation of the Zoo. Guests will enjoy up-close animal encounters, chats with Zookeepers, and an opportunity to bid on unique auction items.
