City of Fairbury issued the following announcement on Sept. 18.
Election petitions for the Consolidated Election on April 2, 2019, can begin circulating tomorrow, September 18, 2018. A minimum of 50 signatures and a maximum of 100 signatures are required. A candidate must live in the ward he/she is running for. The 2019 Candidate's Guide can be downloaded at the State Board of Elections by visiting elections.il.gov
