CITY OF BLOOMINGTON: Connect Transit

Coloring

City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on Oct. 23.

Connect Transit has partnered with 97.9 BOB-FM and Collectible Corner for the 1st annual coloring contest. The theme of the coloring contest for 2018 is “Get Connected with Connect Transit” and it will be open to anyone living in McLean County under the age of 14 years old. Deadline to submit your artwork is Friday, November 16th at 5:00PM. Any medium (paint, crayon, marker, colored pencil, etc.) is acceptable, but remember that bright, solid colors will reproduce better!

Finalists in each age group will be selected by November 23rd and the top five pictures for each age group will be posted to Connect Transit’s Instagram (@connecttransit) and Facebook (Connect Transit) accounts. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places will be determined by the amount of likes on the two social media accounts. The deadline for voting is November 30th, so check out their pages and cast your likes! First place winners in each category will have their artwork displayed on the exterior of a Connect Transit fixed-route bus.

Artwork must reflect the theme of the contest: “#GetConnected with Connect Transit.” Each child may only submit one entry and submission must have entry form firmly attached to the submission. The complete list of rules can be found at connect-transit.com.

Connect Transit has provided safe, reliable and affordable public transportation to the Bloomington-Normal community since 1972. For information on Connect Transit bus services, call Connect Transit at (309) 828-9833 or visit Connect Transit online at www.connect-transit.com.
