City of Lexington issued the following announcement on Nov. 27.
In order to be better prepared to serve the community in the event of a winter emergency, Dan McDaniels, Director of Lexington’s Emergency Management Agency, is requesting information from the public.
If there is anyone in our community with special health concerns (dialysis, oxygen, medical equipment requiring electricity, pregnancies with winter due dates, insulin etc) please contact City Hall with the vital information so that emergency workers can be of assistance should it be required.
Specific information needed would be:
Name
Address
Phone number
Specific health concern
Neighbor’s name and phone

Information may also be written and placed in the drop box just next to the front door of City Hall.
