City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.
The City of Bloomington is accepting applications through February 15 for the spring 2019 session of Bloomington 101, a program aimed at giving community members an overview of their local government. The program covers topics ranging from Police and Fire to Finance to Parks and Recreation. The spring 2019 session meets Thursday evenings from March 21-May 23 from 6-8 pm.
Participation in Bloomington 101 is free and open to anyone 16 or older. However, the ten-week program is capped at 25 participants. To be considered, applicants must agree to attend at least eight of the ten classes.
To apply, submit this form by February 15 to Nora Dukowitz at ndukowitz@cityblm.org. Applications are also available at City Hall and can be requested via email from ndukowitz@cityblm.org.
