City of Fairbury issued the following announcement on Jan. 8.
The water department will be flushing the hydrant on E.Ash Street. Water could turn cloudy and may stain white/light colored laundry. Areas affected are E. Maple, E. Loucst, E. Ash and Indian Grove Estates. Please let your water settle for an hour or so and it will return to normal. Thank you for your patience.
