City of Bloomington issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.
City offices will be open as usual on Wednesday, January 30, 2019.
Garbage and recycle collection will proceed as scheduled, though drivers will remain in their vehicles. Any items requiring collection by hand will be picked up at a later date. The Citizen Convenience Center will be closed on Wednesday.
Recreation programming after 6 pm today through Thursday morning is canceled.
Additionally, the Bloomington Public Library will close at 5 pm today and remain closed on Wednesday. It is anticipated to reopen on Thursday.
