Twin Grove home prices fall in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Twin Grove fell by $18,800 while total sales decreased by 36.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $238,000 - a 7.3% decrease over the $256,800 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Twin Grove in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Twin Grove for 2017 was $4,764.42. In 2016, the median sales tax was $4,613.60. This marks an increase of 3.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2%.
