Wilmington home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Wilmington rose by $2,800 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $136,800 - a 2.1% increase over the $134,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Wilmington in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,224.60, approximately 2.4% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
