Wilmington home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Wilmington rose by $22,250 while total sales increased by 41.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $172,000 - a 14.9% increase over the $149,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 12 homes sold in Wilmington in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,224.60, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
