The data shows that four men and three women were released in Pontiac. The median age of the parolees was 35. The youngest parolee is a 25-year-old man sentenced for crimes against justice in 2019, and the oldest is a 53-year-old woman sentenced for financial crimes or fraud in 2018.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Timothy J. Rork Jr. He was convicted of property crimes in 2013 when he was 31 years old. He is now 37.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
