Village of Cullom Village Board met Aug. 27.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Mayor Hahn called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Members Present: Hahn, Krause, Flessner, Wallrich, J. Meister, Rock, Mills and K. Meister
Absent: Whitman
Also Present: Lovell and Attorney Gabor
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag
Minutes: Motion to accept by consent agenda was made by Rock/Meister. M/C.
Public: None
Maintenance Report:
• The disinfection by-product sampling has been competed
• All water valves have been exercised
• Magruire Iron has been contacted about paint chipping on the water tower. Continuing to collect information on implementing the water meters
Attorney Report: Litigations are coming along and the violation liens are ready with the exception of updated numbers
Clerk Report: Wallrich/Mills made the motion to pay village bills totaling $19,223.20. All voted in favor M/C
Treasurer Report: Motion made by Wallrich/Meister to accept the Monthly report. All voted in favor and M/C. MFT audit has been completed.
Old Business:
• Phase 1 of Water Metering - Continuing as planned
Ordinance Violations - Notices have been handed out and progress has been made to correct many of the offences. People living in campers on private property zoned for single family residences was discussed Fence Ordinance - Wallrich/Rock made the motion to accept Fence ordinance 2019-F-1. All voted in favor and M/C
New Business
• Water Tower - Lovell is talking to Magruire
Any Other Business
• Audit is being prepared to go to auditor
• CAB Committee will host Trunk or Treat on October 31, 2019
Allison Buckley is organizing another electronic recycle Emergency Management Plan needs attention Zoning Map and Zoning Ordinance needs attention Alliance Grain has requested that no dumping by village residents be permitted on the burn pile they allow the village to use. Violators will be prosecuted
