Village of Cullom Village Board met Nov. 6.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Mayor Hahn called the November, 2019 Special Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 6:00 p.m. at the Cullom Village Hall.
Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Whitman, J. Meister, Krause, and Mills
Absent: Wallrich, Rock and K. Meister
Also Present: Lovell
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag
Old Business:
• Levy Ordinance - After discussion, the decision was made to increase the levy total by $15,000 and to be sent to Gabor to write the ordinance.
• Water Metering Ordinance - Discussions were held regarding installation of meters, new construction, billing and re-connection fees for late payments
• 2020 Garbage/Water Rates - Krause/Mesiter made the motion to set the 2020 garbage/water rates to:
$495 Annual rate (3% increase)
$140 Quarterly Payment
$47 Monthly Payment
All voted in favor and M/C.
There will be a letter inserted in the water bills at the beginning of the year explaining the increase.
Any Other Business
Krause gave an update on the village zoning map and on how new software at the county level will benefit the village.
