Village of Cullom Village Board met Oct. 22.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

Mayor Hahn called the October 22, 2019 Regular Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 7:00 p.m. at the Cullom Village Hall.

Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Whitman, J. Meister, K. Meister, Rock and Krause

Absent: Wallrich and Mills

Also Present: Lovell and Attorney Gabor

Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag

Minutes: Motion to accept the minutes by consent agenda was made by Meister/Rock. M/C.

Public: Neil Piggush from Piggush Engineering

Maintenance Report:

• Pumpkin caper report

• Tree problems with Anthrax disease report. Sidewalk repairs on Van Alstyne St.

• Letter from EPA

• Water tower preliminary removal estimate

Attorney Report: Reported on on-going Litigations

Clerk Report: Krause/Meister made the motion to pay village bills totaling $22,981.26. All voted in favor M/C

Treasurer Report: Motion made by Whtiman/Rock to accept the Monthly report. All voted in favor and M/C.

Old Business:

• Phase 1 of Water Metering - Continuing as planned. A special meeting will be held in the near future to discuss the next steps with the village water system 

• Piggush Engineering reported on possible funding options for a new village water tower. Krause/Meister made the motion to have Piggush Engineering proceed with EPA Funding application for the revolving loan for the water tower and to prepare a water rate analysis for the village. All voted in favor and M/C 

• Piggush also reported on MFT funding for possible projects in the near future

New Business

• None

Any Other Business

• Trunk or Treat will be held on Main Street on October 31, 2019
