Wilmington home prices rise in 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in 2019 in Wilmington rose by $8,850 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2019, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $167,750 - a 5.6% increase over the $158,900 median sale price for the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Wilmington in 2018.

The median sales tax in Wilmington for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $3,418, approximately 2% of the median home sale price for 2019.
