Lexington home prices fall in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Lexington fell by $35,750 while total sales decreased by 14.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,250 - a 21.9% decrease over the $163,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Lexington in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,698, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
