City of Fairbury issued the following announcement on March 28.
While parks are still open including walking paths and open spaces, the Play Equipment will be closed for use. This includes jungle gyms, swings, slides and any other equipment associated with the parks. The City would like to assure that all equipment will be sanitized before being reopened for public use.
All residential recycling pickup will be suspended during this time. We ask that you either include it in your trash or hold onto your recycling items until we announce that we will resume regular pick up routes again. We will not be accepting any drop off items at our recycling center during this time.
