City of Morrison City Council met July 9.

The Morrison City Council met in Special Session at 6:00 p.m. in the Morrison Community Room, 307 S Madison St., Morrison, IL. Mayor Everett Pannier called the meeting to order. City Administrator Barry Dykhuizen recorded the minutes.
Aldermen present on roll call were: Ken Mahaffey, Harvey Zuidema, Kevin Bruckner Jr., Mick Welding, Vernon Tervelt and Aryln Deets. Josh West joined remotely. Dale Eizenga was absent.
Other City officials present were City Administrator Barry Dykhuizen and Public Services Director Lori Matlack.
There was no Public Comment.
Items for Consideration, Discussion & Information:
1) Alderman Mahaffey made a motion to approve the purchase of a F450 pick-up truck with a stainless box (approximately $60K) and a F250 (approximately $33K) pick-up truck, seconded by Alderman Deets. On a roll call vote 7 ayes (Mahaffey, Zuidema, Bruckner, Welding, Tervelt, Deets and West) and (nays the motion passed.
With no additional business to discuss, Alderman Mahaffey moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman Zuidema (All ayes). Meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
