Illinois State House District 88 issued the following announcement on July 27.
Eligible child care providers in Illinois are now able to apply for funding to help them re-open in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. A total of $270 million in Child Care Restoration Grants is now available from the state. The deadline to apply is August 14. Applications and more information are available at https://www.inccrra.org/.
To qualify, a provider must have a current license from DCFS to care for children, must be open and caring for children at the time they apply, must demonstrate a “business interruption” from their pre-outbreak capacity and must submit a completed application with all the required documents.
