Village of Cullom Village Board met Aug. 25.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
Mayor Hahn called the Regular Meeting of the Cullom Village Board to order at 7:00 p.m, at the Cullom Community Building Small Room. The change of venue was due to the Governor's call to distance individuals to a six foot minimum due to the COVID-19 Virus Pandemic.
Members Present: Hahn, Flessner, Mills, Wallrich, Rock, Whitman, Wallrich and J. Meister
Absent: Krause
Also Present: Lovell, and K. Meister
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: All present took part in the Pledge Allegiance to the Flag
Minutes: Motion to accept the minutes by consent agenda for the July regular meeting was made by Whitman/Wallrich. M/C.
Public: None
Maintenance Report: The following reports were presented:
• Repairs done to Well #4
• New High Service Pump has been delivered and installation is being scheduled. The existing pump will be sent in to see if it can be rebuilt
• More water meters have been installed and will continue meter installations
Attorney Report:
• Attorney Gabor sent a report regarding information about village on-going litigations
Clerk Report: Whitman/Wallrich made the motion to pay the monthly bills totaling $44,157.12. All voted in favor and M/C
Treasurer Report: Motion made by Wallrich/ Whitman to accept the Monthly report. All voted in favor and M/C.
Old Business:
• Phase 1 of Water Metering - Installation will continue
• MFT Maple Street Project-On hold until Spring
• Water Tower Project - No new information
• Jackson/Oak Street Drain - No new information
New Business - None
Any Other Business
• The American Legion would like a larger dumpster, Hahn will contact Republic Services to see what options are available
• A resident has reported being harassed at their home late at night
• Empty property on West Cleveland St was not completely mowed. The company in charge of the property maintenance will be contacted
