After violating COVID-19 pandemic rules and regulations that were put in place to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, Cadillac Jack's in Bloomington will be paying a $1,500 fine.

To settle the case, Mayor Tari Renner, who is also a liquor commissioner, came to an agreement with Cadillac Jack's on the fine, ABC News 25 reported. The settlement will let Cadillac Jack's keep its liquor license.

After being fined, the Bloomington Police Department has said the restaurant is complying with all regulations.

Since Labor Day weekend, there have been multiple visits to the restaurant by local health officials. Officials and officers from the Bloomington Police Department have been checking that Cadillac Jack's has been complying with coronavirus restrictions.

The liquor commission's filed complaint can be accessed online. In the complaint, the liquor commissioner notes that the restaurant violated rules by not enforcing face mask wearing on several dates.
