City of Fairbury issued the following announcement on Nov. 13.
Election petitions for Alderman/woman and Mayor are available at City Hall, 201 W Locust Street, Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Consolidated Election is Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
The City of Fairbury has 4 aldermen/women seats open. One alderman/woman will be elected for each Ward. If you are uncertain about what Ward you live in, please call the City Clerk, 815-692-2743, for clarification.
The City of Fairbury residents will also be voting to fill the seat of Mayor.
The first day to turn in Consolidated Election petition packets is Monday, December 14th; the last day is Monday, December 21st at 5 p.m.
