Bloomington conservative candidate hopefuls should mark Feb. 14 on their calendars for a free candidate development workshop.
Attendees are expected to come out of the training with insights on leadership and ethics, the real nature of politics, strategic research, creating a campaign plan, fundraising, and public speaking.
More importantly, the participants will be taught how to decide if they are ready to run.
The training, which will be conducted by the Leadership Institute in partnership with NXTgen Illinois, will be held at 503 N. Prospect Road, Ste. 209, Bloomington, IL 61704 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dena Espenscheid, director of Grassroots Coalitions, can be reached through Leadership Institute’s contact page for more inquiries about the training.
