Q2 2020 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Livingston County?

There were 15 offenders released on parole during the second quarter of 2020 that live in Livingston County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by McLean County Times.

The data shows that 11 men and four women were released in Livingston County. The median age of the parolees was 36. The youngest parolee was a 21-year-old woman sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2019, and the oldest was a 57-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Marcus E. McGath. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2015 when he was 42 years old. He is now 48.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2020 in each Livingston County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
